Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of CGM Convert (“the Service”), operated by ILXS Pvt Ltd, FLAT NO. D/102, SHIVAM SANKUL NEAR GAONDEVI MANDIR, KULGAON, BADLAPUR EAST, Thane THANE Maharashtra 421503, Yeranjad, Maharashtra, 421503, India (CIN U72900MH2020PTC349767, GSTIN 27AAFCI8928R1ZL) — “we”, “us”.

By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of an employer, you confirm you are authorised to bind them.

1. The Service

CGM Convert converts binary CGM files (ISO 8632-3, including the ATA GRAPHICS.GREXCHANGE and S1000D profiles) into SVG and PNG. Conversion runs on our servers; the resulting files are returned to your browser and, if you choose, written to a folder you select on your own computer.

2. Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address and keep your password secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• One account is for one person. Sharing credentials across a team is not permitted; contact us for team terms.
• Tell us promptly at contactus@ilxs.in if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Your files and your rights in them

You keep all rights in the files you upload and in the converted output. We claim no ownership over either. We do not use your drawings to train models, and we do not share them with third parties.

You confirm you have the right to upload the files you submit.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or other accounts;
• circumvent conversion limits, or use automated means to create multiple accounts in order to obtain further free trials;
• resell access to the Service without a written agreement with us;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the conversion engine;
• upload content that is unlawful or that you are not entitled to process.

5. Plans, billing and limits

Current plans and prices are shown on the plans page. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance by recurring mandate through our payment provider. Prices exclude applicable taxes unless stated.

We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email. Continued use after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance; if you do not accept, you may cancel before the change applies.

Conversion limits and maximum file sizes attach to your plan and are stated on the plans page. Free-plan conversions are a one-off allowance and do not renew.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may suspend the Service for maintenance, and will give notice where practical. No service level agreement applies unless separately agreed in writing.

7. Conversion accuracy

CGM is a large specification and source files vary widely in how they use it. We make no warranty that every drawing converts perfectly or that output is fit for any regulatory or publication purpose. You are responsible for checking converted output before relying on it, particularly where it will be used in technical publications or maintenance documentation.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, or where required by law. On termination we will refund any unused portion of a prepaid period unless the termination is for breach.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, data, or business interruption.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email at least 30 days before they take effect.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Pune, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction.

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what ILXS Pvt Ltd collects when you use CGM Convert, why, and what control you have.

What we collect

Your drawings

This matters most, so it is stated plainly:

• CGM files you upload are processed in memory to produce SVG or PNG, and are not written to disk or stored by us.
• We keep the filename in your conversion history. We do not keep the file, nor the converted output.
• Converted files are returned to your browser and, where you choose the folder option, written directly to your own computer.
• We do not use your drawings for training, analytics or any purpose other than performing the conversion you asked for.

If your organisation requires that drawings never leave its own network, contact us at contactus@ilxs.in about an on-premise arrangement.

Card details

We never see or store card numbers. Payment is handled by our payment provider, who is PCI DSS compliant. We store only a reference to your subscription with them.

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share only what is necessary with:

• Supabase — account records and usage history (hosting and database)
• Cloudflare — serves the site and runs the conversion API
• Brevo — sends account emails such as confirmation and password reset
• Razorpay — payment processing for paid plans

Cookies and storage

We use browser local storage to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. If you choose the folder output option, your browser stores a reference to the folder you picked — that reference stays on your computer and is never sent to us.

Your rights

You may ask us to provide a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it. Write to contactus@ilxs.in and we will respond within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your account record and conversion history; we may retain invoices where tax law requires it.

Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit. Access to account data is restricted by row-level security so one account cannot read another's. If we become aware of a breach affecting your data we will notify you promptly.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Cancelling

You can cancel a paid plan at any time from your account page, with no notice period and no cancellation fee.

Cancellation stops future renewals. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, after which the account reverts to the free plan. Your account and conversion history are not deleted.

Refunds

• Within 7 days of your first payment — full refund on request, no reason needed.
• Service failure — if the Service is unavailable or not working as described for a material part of a billing period, we will refund that period on request.
• Otherwise — monthly payments already taken are not normally refunded, since cancellation stops the next charge and you keep access for the period paid.
• Accidental or duplicate charges — refunded in full.

We would rather refund someone who is unhappy than argue. If you think a charge was wrong, write to contactus@ilxs.in and tell us what happened.

How to request a refund

Email contactus@ilxs.in from the address on your account, with the date and amount of the charge. We aim to reply within 2 working days.

How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are made to the original payment method through our payment provider. Once we process it, the money typically reaches you within 5–7 working days, depending on your bank.

The free plan

The free plan involves no payment and so nothing to refund. Its conversions are a one-off allowance that does not renew monthly.
